Yogurt Fruit Shake

Yogurt Fruit Shake

from Quick & Healthy Recipes and Ideas,  Brenda J. Ponichtera, R.D.

Yogurt fans will enjoy this creamy shake.  This can be made with fresh fruit or unsweetened canned fruit.  If sweetened yogurt is used, omit sweetener.  Enjoy!

bullet1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
bullet1/2 cup sliced fruit
bullet2 ice cubes
bullet1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
bulletsweetener to taste:  about 2 tsp. sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener

Blend first four ingredients until smooth.  Sweeten to taste.

Yield:  about 1 cup

One Serving: one cup

Calories per serving:  105 with artificial sweetener, 130 with sugar
